Ministers’ Day on the Hill (February 11, 2015)
Martin Luther King Jr. said that the church was to be the conscience of the state and, indeed, it must do so because, as Solomon said, “A divine decision is in the lips of the King; he should not err in judgment.”
God cares about how the authority He extends to civil government is used, and who better to engage our legislators than the ministers of our local churches?
That’s why The Family Action Council of Tennessee is teaming up with other organizations to host Ministers’ Day on the Hill. This free event for ministers will be at the state Capitol on February 24th.
Ministers’ Day on the Hill will inform ministers about the issues our legislators are facing and provide time for them to pray for their legislators. Urge your minister to attend Ministers’ Day on the Hill, February 24th.
