Tennesseans, Stand for Your Rights! (December 2, 2015)

What did the U.S. Supreme Court really do when it attempted to redefine marriage based on the Constitution?

First, the Court called into question every marriage-related law in Tennessee because they are all based on the assumption marriage is between a man and a woman.

Second, by saying it could infuse “evolving rights” into the Fourteenth Amendment’s Due Process Clause, the Court gave itself permission to effectively eliminate the Tenth Amendment, undermining the constitutional doctrine of state sovereignty.

Because of the decision, our Constitution will now evolve without our approval.

If the Supreme Court can take away our rights as individuals and as states to control matters like marriage, then it can take away any right and any power we may think we have.

So please join us as we reclaim our liberty from the Federal Courts!
